The Worthy Wound

There is a collective feeling of unworthiness among us. This post won’t heal the wound, but it may help you to understand why it was created in the first place. On my social media platforms, I connect with you through affirmations, practicing gratitude, sharing information on spiritual healing as well as how our minds work.

OVER TIME IT HAS BECOME APPARENT THAT THERE IS A HEAVY “WORTHY WOUND” AND IT IS ASKING TO BE HEALED.

Feelings of unworthiness are harbored in your mind due to believing a piece of false information. It is common that the feelings of unworthiness are not spoken about as they are guarded in shame. By keeping it guarded, the ego will take things personally and it is playing some strong defense to control the outside world to try to protect the wound from being touched. This inhibits the wound from being healed.

The subconscious mind: your subconscious is a databank that holds your memories and collects new information on a daily basis. When you are young the subconscious mind is conditioned based on events in childhood as well as how you are raised. In adulthood, society continues the conditioning of the mind. On average, you operate 95% of the time subconsciously.

Ego: This is how you identify to Self. Your ego was developed with the help of your subconscious mind and has become your persona. Your ego does everything in its power to “protect” you. It does not like change, however, it is possible to create separation from ego with practice and guidance. You are not your ego.

The ego has identified with the feeling of unworthiness with the “proof” from your subconscious (memories). Somewhere along the line, you believed that you were lacking in an area, inferior to someone, or not adequate enough. This belief may have stemmed from a childhood experience or was reinforced through conditioning in unhealthy relationships. What’s most important here is that the feeling of unworthiness is rooted in a false belief. Your ego has identified with the feeling. Since unworthiness is a feeling and feeling is energy, it needs to be released. The trapped energy (aka feeling aka emotion) causes the voice in your head to get loud and upset which causes you to be triggered.

A few sentences up, I used the word conditioning. Your mind wicked smart and just as it was conditioned to believe and connect to something false, it has the same power to release and connect to truth. You have the power to change.
